We've been here few times and enjoyed the restaurant. They have excellent wings and grilled skewer options. I especially enjoyed shrimp skewers. They have individual hot pot you can order as well which comes with preassembled items in the pot. You can also get it individualized. We also tried hot stone rice which were yummy. My husband was happy to see that they had few beers on draft. The owner and wait staff were friendly. Overall homey Chinese restaurant were some specialty items like skewers and hot stone rice.
We ordered a good amount of food for 6 people (still had some leftovers). Dried Pot Shrimp & Spare Ribs with Chili Dried Pot Pork Belly with Chili Chow mein Beef skewers (1 order comes with 4) Chicken heart skewers (1 order comes with 4) Salt and pepper fish 3 bowls of rice Bill was about $135 after tax (before tip). We tried to use our coupon (spend $50 get $10 off) but we can only use one coupon... Also, to get this coupon book you need to first spend $50 to get the book and it doesn't apply to that first order.
Amazing experience at Quality Taste Pot in San Marcos!. The hot pot broth was rich and flavorful, with fresh and high-quality ingredients to match. The appetizers were spot on--especially the croquettes, dumplings, which were so crispy, soft, juicy and tasty. The wait was a bit long, but every bite made it 100% worth it. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic and flavorful dishes!
The food was amazing!! The service was ok, was rushed to order fast. Highly suggest the fried tofu, please change the main intro picture of green beans to the Fried tofu. It's the main reason why I ate here :)
This is hands down my favorite restaurant in SD! Everytime I come here, I order the hotpot while my boyfriend gets the drypot, along with at least two appetizers (got to have the fried calamari) and beer. The portions are as generous as the ladies serving you! The flavors and prices are always 5/5, never failing to be the pick-me-up for when I have a hard week. I intend to bring my family here one day.
I love this place. Always great service and great Chinese food. We literally bring our family here for a good meal. Always on the orders the vegetable stir fry, pork feet, and a random new dish. Highly recommend checking out this hole in the wall!

With the closing and changing of chefs at my fav restaurants, it has been very challenging to find new ones to replace them. Parking is plentiful. The service is great. They speak different dialects of Chinese, English and Spanish. Food is fantastic and prices are reasonable for huge portions l. Eat family style, it's more enjoyable
The owner is just spectacular. Super friendly and welcoming - this makes the meal 100x better. Interior is wonderfully decorated. We got the hot pot and the pig feet and was NOT disappointed. Pig feet was not too salty and was flavored so nicely. Will definitely be back.
